COVID-19: Our Business Update

Here at the Wastepack Group have been watching the developments, and Government announcements, surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 virus and have developed a robust business continuity action plan.

Throughout these uncertain times, we are following the latest Government advice with regards to social distancing, taking precautions to ensure minimal disruption to our services, whilst putting the safety of our employees and everyone around us at the forefront of our planning. We have taken measures to limit direct contact between members of our team and the majority of our employees are now working remotely. To ensure a smooth transition to our new way of working a skeleton staff will be remaining on site at our offices into next week, or until further Government guidance is issued. Meetings, both internal and external, will not be face-to-face for the time being, rest assured we do have a variety of reliable tools in place to provide both online and telephone conferencing.

Update 24th March 2020: Following further Government guidance issued this week we have officially closed our office premises in Stansted and our team are working from home.

Despite these changes we want to reassure all that our services continue as normal, with little to no disruption, unless otherwise affected by external measures beyond our control. If you have any questions please feel free to get in contact in the usual way; either call 01279 620000 or email help@wastepack.co.uk

We are not just a compliance scheme, we are people sharing the same doubts and uncertainties as one. For each other, and especially in times people may be feeling less connected, let’s continue to practice kindness and keep our communication open.

Stay safe,

The Wastepack Team
