Government launches consultations on Packaging Waste Reform, Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) for England and Wales and a plastic packaging tax
DEFRA and HMRC have launched today (18th February) four consultations seeking views on how to implement some of the key principles outlined in the Governments Resource and Waste Strategy.
Most of you will be affected by at least one of these changes and it is important that you take this opportunity to let your views be heard.
Over the next few weeks, we will be hosting a series of Webinars looking at the options in greater depth – details of which will be sent out to members in due course.
Each consultation will last for 12 weeks and as some of these changes are likely to have significant cost implications on your business, it is important that you use this opportunity to have your say!
